My new system's fan runs at 38% in fan mode. about 45 watts. I set it to run continuously during my afternoon comfort setting. My opinion, if you have an older single speed fan, use the minutes per hour option. If you have a newer variable speed fan, let it run continuously during the comfort settings where you think you need it.
